MAY DAY! MAY DAY!

It's been a while since I posted one of these suckers, so let's catch up:

1. Quiet Life is back from their month long US tour. Good times were had all over the country. The boys from Quiet Life spent 5 days at SXSW, playing daytime shows, handing out Safety Meeting Record samplers (more about this below), then traveling out to the Pacific Northwest and back. These guys have been hard at work in their trade for years now, so if you get a chance, go out to one of their shows and see them do what they do best.

2. Quiet Life's "Act Natural" is out and available for purchase through our merch store, finer record stores (if your favorite record store is not stocking it, tell them to order it through Carrot Top Distribution), and mp3 download sites, such as Itunes, Emusic, Rhapsody, etc.

3. We now have a free Safety Meeting Records sampler available, called "The Safety First Compilation". It features 16 tracks of Safety Meeting material, including tracks from upcoming Titles, andMT Bearington records, as well as an unreleased Mountain Movers track. This sampler is only available at Safety Meeting shows. The next one is Tuesday, May 30th at Cafe Nine (see point 4).

4. Titles' new CD, "Up With The Sun", is just about done. The national street date for this CD is July 15th, but we're going to release it locally on Friday, May 30th. The release party is at Cafe Nine, it's FREE, 21 and over only, Etta Place is opening, and at midnight (after Titles' set), DJ Live Mike is going to be cutting up some records, so everyone can do some booty shaking. here's the cover:

5. Finally, Crooked Hook is going to have some music featured in the upcoming horror movie, Banshee!! Be on the lookout for this one, it's looks like a lot of fun. Click on the movie poster below to see the trailer, featuring "Deep End" right in the beginning.
