Humanoid "At BAR 8-12-07" CD Release
Come down and help celebrate the release of HUMANOID, "At BAR 8-12-07" (SMR07). We're especially psyched about this record, as we put a lot of time and effort into it.
The CD is a live recording of Humanoid's crushing mid-August set at BAR. Those of you who were there, we're more than likely blown away and are looking forward to owning documentation of that event. Those of you who don't know Humanoid, should. Humanoid plays loud, fuzzed-out, instrumental rock. The kind that you can get really lost in. The recording was done by Warren and Dave from Humanoid, and mastered by Scott Amore from Innerspacesoundlabs. The packaging for this release was all done in-house using 100% recycled cardstock packaging, soy based ink stamps for the artwork, and hand numbered and assembled by the band and myself. Did I mention that this is a limited press run? Cause it is, there's only 300 of these, hand numbered -50 to 250. Get there early and bring some extra loot for tshirts, CDs, and drinks for the band and myself.
Check out Humanoid's Myspace Page for song samples, befriend them if you like (they're awfully nice people).

Some accolades for this release:
"Humanoid's strength lies in their ability to create controlled frenzy. Like a poorly constructed roller coaster, one expects the band's instrumentals to fall apart in the midst of a thunderous calamity, yet no matter how close it may seem like the band is on the verge of collapse, Humanoid manages to pull it together." -J. Petrin, PLAY Magazine
"bludgeoning, brutal, really loud in a live setting. I mean, geez, they have two bass players. It's Robitussinal!" -B. LaRue, New Haven Advocate
